Policy & Change takes an intersectional approach to
anti-gun violence activism, using art to shed light on all forms of gun violence,
including domestic and gang violence, police brutality and mass shootings by civilians.
We donate to and recommend the following organizations:
- Everytown for Gun Safety –
A nonprofit to end gun violence and build safer communities.
- March for Our Lives – Founded by the students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas, this organization
focuses on ending the epidemic of mass shootings.
- Campaign Zero – A police reform campaign
with data-informed, comprehensive solutions to end police violence in America.
- Cure Violence — A Chicago-based NGO that combats violence like a disease outbreak:
interrupt transmission of violence, directly treat high risk individuals, and change social norms.
- BUILD –
They engage at-risk youth in Chicago to realize their
educational and career potential.
